Description
This four petal crocheted flower resembles an Irish shamrock. It would make a great pin for St. Patrick's Day. It is a quick and easy crochet pattern to follow.
Materials and Supplies
Any weight yarn with the appropriate size crochet hook. Our sample was made using worsted weight yarn and a size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook.
Abbreviations:
ch = chain
rep = repeat
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
st(s) = stitch (es)
tr = treble or triple crochet
yo = yarn over
Craft Instructions
Special Stitch - Bobble = 3 tr into next sc until 1 loop of each remains on hook, yo and draw through all 4 loops on hook.
Base ring: Ch 5, join with a sl st.
Round 1: Ch 1, 12 sc into ring, sl st into first sc.
Round 2: *Ch 4, 1 bobble into next sc, ch 4, sl st into each of next 2 sc; rep from * 3 more times, skipping 1 sl st at end of last rep, ch 7, sc into 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc into each of next 5 ch, sl st into first sc on first round. Fasten off.
