Abbreviations:
beg = beginning
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
sc = single crochet
sk = skip
sp = space
sl st = slip stitch

Base Ring: Ch 8,join with sl st.
Round 1: Ch 3 (count as 1 dc), dc into ring, [ch 6, 3dc into ring] 5 times, ch 6, dc into ring, sl st to top of ch 3.
Round 2: *Ch 1, [1sc, 1hdc, 7dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc] into next ch 6 sp, ch 1, sk 1 dc, 1 sl st into next dc; rep from * 5 more times placing last sl st into top of ch 3 at beg of previous round.
Fasten off.
