This is a very simple Valentine's day craft project that is fun for all ages and can be completed successfully by preschoolers with a little help.

Feel free to use any size heart shaped cookie cutter. Our cookie cutter is 5" wide by 4 1/4" high. If you use a smaller size, you will use fewer little foam hearts.

Refer to our hints and tips section for tips on using glitter.

Craft Supplies:

• Heart shaped cookie cutter
• Self stick* craft foam slightly larger than the cookie cutter
• Small craft foam hearts
• Ultra fine glitter
• Magnet - you can use a piece of a strip magnet but I prefer the magnetic buttons

*If you don't have self stick craft foam, you can spread a layer of white glue on the craft foam instead

1. Trace your cookie cutter onto a piece of self stick craft foam. Trace it slightly larger than the cookie cutter.
2. Cut out the craft foam heart. Peel the paper off the back an place the heart, sticky side up, on your work surface.
3. Press the cookie cutter into the craft foam heart.
4. Stick little craft foam hearts onto the sticky side of the large craft foam heart then sprinkle glitter all over the rest of the sticky side of the large heart. Shake off excess glitter.
5. Attach a magnet to the back of your heart.
