Description
Craft a magnetic snowman post-it note holder as a useful winter decoration. This snowman will hang around on your refrigerator waiting for you to post notes on his belly.
Great project for kids to practice their cutting and gluing skills.
Materials and Supplies
Craft Supplies:
- 3" Magnetic strip
- Craft foam; white, black, green, gold & red
- Powdered blush
- Two 20mm wiggle eyes
- 1" orange pompom
- Green & black permanent marker
- Tacky glue
- Post-it note pad
Craft Instructions
- Trace and cut out one snowman from white craft foam, one scarf from green craft foam, a hat from black craft foam, a buckle from gold craft foam and a hat band from red craft foam.
- Using tacky glue, glue the hat on top of the snowman's head and glue the scarf at his neck. Using a green marker, draw stripes onto the scarf.
- Trim the pompom into a cone shape and glue the wider end onto the center of the snowman's face. Glue two eyes above the nose and using a black permanent marker, make several dots forming a mouth.
- Apply some powdered blush to the cheeks.
- Glue the top edge of the post-it pad to the snowman's belly - just under his scarf.
- Glue the hat band to the hat as pictured and glue the buckle on top of the band.
- Glue a 3" magnet strip to the back of the snowman's head.
