If you are celebrating Saint Patricks Day, our felt shamrock pin will make a great accessory to your St. Patty's Day outfit. We have provided the shamrock pattern so all you have to do is get some felt and embroidery floss and use the blanket stitch to make this quick felt craft.

If you are unfamiliar with the blanket stitch, we have provided instructions on our Sewing Information page on how to complete this stitch. It's really quite easy!

Craft Supplies:

• 8" x 4" piece green glitter felt*
• Embroidery floss; orange or white
• Embroidery needle
• Bar pin
• Needle and thread

*You can substitute regular green felt if you don't have glitter felt

1. Fold the piece of felt in half so that it measures 4" x 4" and so that the right (glitter) sides are facing each other. Using the pattern provided, cut out two shamrock shapes.
2. With a regular needle and thread, on the right side of one of the shamrocks, stitch a bar pin in the center of the shamrock.
3. Place the two shamrocks together with wrong sides facing each other. Pin in place.
4. Using embroidery floss as it comes and the blanket stitch, stitch around the border of the two shamrocks.
