Description
Like many of the other stitch patterns, the textured tiles stitch is not a difficult stitch as far as technique goes but it does take some practice to focus and keep track of exactly which row and which stitch you are own. A stitch counter or piece of paper and a pen are essential when following this pattern.
Skill level: Intermediate
10 Stitch pattern repeat.
Materials and Supplies
You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).
Craft Instructions
Multiple of 10 + 6.
1st row (right side): P1 , *k4, p1; rep from * to end.
2nd row: K1, *p4 k1; rep from * to end.
Rep the last 2 rows once more, then 1st row again.
6th row: K6, *p4, k6; rep from * to end.
7th row: As 1st row.
Rep the last 2 rows twice more.
12th row: As 2nd row.
13th row: As 1st row.
Rep the last 2 rows once more.
16th row: K1, p4, *k6, p4 rep from * to last st, k1.
17th row: As 1st row.
Rep the last 2 rows once more, then 16th row again.
Rep these 20 rows.
