Description
Stripe Pillars is a very simple knitting pattern to follow. It is made up solely of the basic knit and purl stitches. It has a very cool striped look when completed.
Skill level: Beginner +
6 Stitch pattern repeat.
Materials and Supplies
You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).
Craft Instructions
Multiple of 6 + 3.
1st row (right side): Knit.
2nd row: Purl.
Rep the last 2 rows once more.
5th row: K1, *p1, k1; rep from * to end.
6th row: P1, *k1, p1; rep from * to end.
Rep the last 2 rows once more.
9th row: K1, p1, k1, *p3, k1, p1, k1; rep from * to end.
10th row: P1, k1, p1, *k3, p1, k1, p1; rep from * to end.
Rep the last 2 rows once more.
Rep these 12 rows.
