Description
This is a fairly easy pattern for those who are comfortable changing between knit and purl stitches as only the basic knit and purl stitches are used in this knitting pattern.
Skill level: Beginner +
8 Stitch pattern repeat.
Materials and Supplies
You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).
Craft Instructions
Multiple of 8.
1st row (right side): P1, k6, *p2, k6; rep from * to last st, p1.
2nd row: K1, p5, *k3, p5; rep from * to last 2 sts, k2.
3rd row: P3, k4 *p4, k4; rep from * to last st, p1.
4th row: K1, p3, k2, p1, *k2, p3, k2, p1; rep from * to last st, k1.
5th row: P1, k2, *p2, k2; rep from* to last st, p1.
6th row: K1, p1, k2, p3, *k2, p1, k2, p3; rep from * to last st, k1.
7th row: P1, k4, *p4, k4; rep from * to last 3 sts, p3.
8th row: K2, p5, *k3, p5; rep from * to last st, k1.
9th row: As 1st row.
10th row: K1, p6, *k2, p6; rep from * to last st, k1.
Rep these 10 rows.
