Description
The Parallelogram check knitting stitch is made up of simple knit and purl stitches. It is easy enough for a beginner with a little experience.
Skill level: Beginner +
10 Stitch pattern repeat.
Materials and Supplies
You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).
Craft Instructions
Multiple of 10.
1st row (right side): *K5, p5; rep from * end.
2nd row: K4, *p5, k5; rep from * to last 6 sts, p5, k1.
3rd row: P2, *k5, p5; rep from * to last 8 sts k5, p3.
4th row: K2, *p5, k5; rep from * to last 8 sts, p5, k3.
5th row: P4, *k5, p5; rep from * to last 6 sts, k5, p1.
6th row: *P5, k5; rep from * to end.
Rep these 6 rows.
