Description
The Lacy Openwork knitting stitch would make a lovely baby blanket. It has a delicate airy look and feel to it. Our sample was kitted on size 8 needles using worsted weight yarn. You could knit it as our sample or use a baby weight yarn with smaller knitting needles.
Skill level: Intermediate
4 Stitch pattern repeat.
Materials and Supplies
You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).
Craft Instructions
Multiple of 4 + 1
1st row: K1, *yfrn, p3tog, yon, k1; rep from * to end.
2nd row: P2tog, yon, k1, yfrn, *p3tog, yon, k1, yfrn; rep from * to last 2 sts, p2tog.
Rep these 2 rows.
