Description
Although this is not a pattern for beginners, it is a simple pattern to follow if you have a bit of experience. It knits up quickly as every other row is a straight purl row. Although the original pattern did not specify a foundation row, I found that it need a row of purl at the beginning of the pattern.
Skill level: Intermediate
6 Stitch pattern repeat.
Materials and Supplies
You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).
Craft Instructions
Multiple of 6 + 1
Foundation row: Purl
1st row (right side): K1, * k2tog, yo, k1, yo, sl 1, k1, psso, k1; rep from * to end.
2nd row: Purl
Rep these 2 rows 5 times more.
13th row: K1, *yo, sl 1, k1, psso, k1, k2tog, yo, k1; rep from * to end.
14th row: Purl.
Rep the last 2 rows 5 times more.
Rep these 24 rows.
