Description
If you are looking for a fun Santa craft to crochet, you will love this Santa Christmas ornament. He is made with curly arms and legs like our other ornaments in the "curly ornament" series. Check out the others: a snowman, reindeer and elves. It's hard to see in the photo but Santa has nice bushy eyebrows.
Although he won't break if children knock him off the tree, he is not intended for children under 3 years old to play with as he has small parts they can choke on.

Assemble Santa:
- The easiest way to join the arms and legs together is to line up the top of the arms and legs altogether and whip stitch the top 3/4" or so with a yarn needle and matching yarn. Then stitch the whole arm leg assembly to the bottom of the head assembly. Be sure to put the two legs between the arms.
- Stitch the hat to the top of Santa's head with matching yarn.
- Glue on two 7mm eyes on to Santa's face.
- Pull the strands out of a store bought 2" white pompom and glue a clump of them onto Santa's face for a beard. Take a smaller clump of the pompom strands and glue it on as a mustache. Trim Santa's beard and mustache so that it is neat and the length you want it.
- Glue on a pink pompom nose as pictured (on top of the center of the mustache). Take a a few 1/2" strands and glue them above Santa's eyes for eyebrows.
- Thread a piece of monofilament through the top of the reindeer's head and tie the ends in an overhand knot. This will be the ornament hanger.
