Wine Cork Coasters
Do you ever wonder what to do with a wine cork once you have polished off the wine? Help protect your tables from the heat of a hot drink and the sweat from iced drinks with coasters made from recycled wine corks.
- Glue two of the wine corks together end to end. Repeat this with the remaining 6 corks so that you have 4 sets of double corks (4 sets that have been glued end to end).
- Glue the four sets of corks together as pictured.
Note: If there are words or designs on the corks, pay attention to how you line them up when gluing them so that the words/designs will be visible when your coaster is finished.
Make a set of wine cork coasters as a unique gift for the hard to buy for friends and relatives on your list. Tie them together with some rafia before giving them away.
