Lacy Knit Scarf
Materials:
- 6 oz Worsted weight yarn
- Knitting needles; size 10 (6.0mm)
- Yarn needle
Directions are given for adult size scarf. For a child size cast on 20 or a multiple of 4. Work in same manner as adult scarf only making it shorter.
To Begin:
- Cast on 24 stitches
- Work in K2 P2 for 4 rows
Pattern:
- *Yo, K2 tog Repeat from * to end of row
- K for 5 rows
Repeat pattern until scarf is desired length then work K2 P2 for 4 rows. Your cast off row should be worked in the K2 P2 pattern and should be counted as the 4th row of K2 P2. Using a yarn needle, weave loose ends back into your work.
