Elf Magnet
This easy kids Christmas craft will put you in the spirit. With our step by step instructions, you can make an elf magnet from craft foam in no time at all.
Materials:
- Red craft foam; 4" square
- Flesh colored craft foam; 4" square
- 5mm pink pompom
- Two 7mm googly eyes
- One 10mm bell
- Ultra fine tip black permanent marker (Sharpie)
- Gold glitter glue
- White glue
- Magnet; 1" piece
- Trace and cut out the hat and collar from red craft foam.
- Trace and cut out the head from flesh colored craft foam.
- Using white glue, such as Elmer's glue or tacky glue, glue a magnet to the back of the elf's head then glue the collar and hat onto the front of the elf's head.
- Glue the eyes and pom-pom on the face as pictured. The pom-pom will be your elf's nose.
- Using the marker, draw eyebrows and a mouth on your elf's face. Then, draw lines inside the ears as pictured and draw a line on the hat as shown.
- Glue the bell in place on the end of the elf's hat. Lay flat until the glue dries or the bell will fall off.
- Using glitter glue, outline the bottom edge of the hat and the bottom edge of the collar.
